Guitar Paint Kit, Vintage Sunburst - Dye & Waterbase

IT HAS NEVER BEEN EASIER TO BUILD, PAINT AND MAKE YOUR OWN UNIQUE GUITAR IN SUNBURST WITH OUR PAINT KIT "VINTAGE CLASSIC SUNBURST - NITRO SPRAY"!

Sunburst finishing style is, no doubt, very popular for musical instruments such as electric, acoustic and electric basse guitars. We all know that the centre of a sunburst-finished surface is an area of lighter colour, and that can either keep the same colour tone towards the edges before hitting a darker trim, black, or any other darker colours. Well-known Sunburst guitars include Gibson LP guitars, and Fender Strat guitars. So if you plan to build a guitar from any our guitar kits, then this finishing style can be a reference for you.
Many types of sunburst finishes have been developed and graduated, but here are the inspirations from "Vintage Sunburst" style that we would like to propose to you:
-    Vintage Sunburst

We create this kit with aerosol sprays that allow you to paint your guitar kit homogeneously without the need of additional material like a spray gun. So you just need to shake and spray!

Our paint kit includes:

For preparation:
Either 1x Grain filler Or 1 x Clear Sealer Spray- this is an optional choice

For guitar body
1 x Black coulour spray for the edge & 1x colour of your choice for the centre.
1 x Vanishes: either Gloss or Matt

For guitar neck
1 x vanish for your neck, and this is optional

To finish with the build, we highly recommend the polishing kit to keep your guitar built in shape.

Preparation:

We highly recommend to prepare your guitar body, and guitar kit before applying any coats of finishes. You need to sand the guitar body and guitar neck to get the smooth surface, and if your body guitar is porous, then you should consider using grain filler or clear sealer to seal the wood pore.

Before applying nitrocellulose lacquer, shake vigorously between 2 to 5 minutes. Spray thin layers to avoid any drip and get a homogeneous distribution and in an environment with low humidity. Apply with a uniform movement and with a distance of approximately 20 cm. Wait between 12 to 24 hours between coats. Ideally you might want to sand slighly between coats. It is also important to apply a primer and sand 400 before applying the spray.
